Hamilton had not ever said anything like last year
while he was at his side. But after the presentation of the team
McLaren Mercedes in Stuttgart on Monday, Lewis Hamilton said yesterday
some startling statements to which we had become accustomed in
recognizing how much they had learned from Fernando Alonso in the 2007
season.
Hamilton said "is a fantastic pilot, I learned a lot
from him. Fernando had more experience and I was able to get something
good from it. Mejoré much my driving with your help."
The
relationship between Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton started to go
wrong at the time that Hamilton was leader of World Formula 1 and
believed he could win the title. The harsh internal struggle McLaren
erupted in the circuit of Monte Carlo, where Lewis Hamilton accused
McLaren having harmed, by delaying their repostajes, and not allow it
to attack Fernando Alonso at the end of the race. However, the fight is
encrudeció in Hungary GP when Fernando Alonso was 40 seconds in the
timed stopped and prevented Hamilton might make his last attempt to
return quickly. Fernando Alonso was punished and lost five positions on
the grid.
Now, Lewis Hamilton and McLaren seem to have
erased all those stories of his memory. "We have gone page," said Lewis
Hamilton. "And I think this is a good start for us. Experience I caught
last year and now my relationship with the team is stronger than ever.
Feel good and I do not think that Heiki (Kovalainen) will have
problems. We going in the right direction, "said Hamilton.
