El piloto del equipo Renault, Nelsinho Piquet, obtuvio el undécimo mejor tiempo en la sesión de entrenamientos de fórmula 1 que se disputaron ayer en el circuito de Montmeló.
Los coches Renault, que apenas pudieron rodar por culpa de la lluvia, se vieron superados por los coches de Ferrari.
En cambio, para el brasileño los equipos con los que tanto Fernando Alonso como él luchan ahora son solamente dos: "Creo que Red Bull y Williams, aunque no sé si estamos o no delante de ellos". Es decir, coincide con Fernando Alonso.
Y reconoció que el coche R28, como en el circuito de Cheste, tampoco fue bien en Jerez: "Es
un trazado que tradicionalmente no se le ha dado bien a Renault, así
que no tiene que extrañarnos que no fuera veloz. Es muy difícil sacar
conclusiones. Unas veces ellos están delante y otras nosotros".
Precisamente sobre Fernando Alonso todo fueron elojios: "Alonso es el mejor piloto del mundo y aquí, a diferencia de Brasil, no han tenido otros grandes pilotos en la historia".
Hoy, más pruebas para el r28
Hoy, si la lluvia lo permite, los pilotos de nuevo saltarán al circuito de Montmeló para ultimar sus monoplazas de cara al inicio de temporada.

Fernando
Alonso, twice champion of Formula 1 will be the focus of attention in
training penúltimos Formula 1 this season 2008, which will take place

los insultos racistas que sufrió Lewis Hamilton
en el circuito de Montmeló fueron "un incidente aislado" y cree que la campaña
antirracismo de la FIA no sería
necesaria.
"Todo lo que esto consigue es que se preste atención a
gente que busca precisamente eso", comentí Ecclestone este Domingo.
